PPC marketing is also known by the name as Pay Per Click marketing it has an estimated turn over of $1.5 billion per year. It was with the introduction of Google Adwords in the early 2002 saw vast changes in the area of PPC marketing. PPC marketing is an advertisement system which is based entirely on the Internet, The ads are displayed as sponsored results on the search engine pages.

The payment is done by the advertiser only when a visitor is clicked through the ads and not for displaying the ads. The focus of PPC marketing isĀ  based on keywords which is for a specific targeted market. When the user enters a keyword or phrase to a search engine window which matches the keyword list of the advertiser the ad is displayed with the normal search engine results as sponsored links or recommended links.

The traffic obtained from ppc marketing is of targeted nature as the visitor has reached a page what he was in search for. The price of the keywords differ from each word and phrase. The biggest bidder would have his results displayed on the top recommended results for the specific keywords. PPC marketing is not an expensive method.
